Phased development restores an urban neighborhood

This 68,000-sf affordable housing complex is a four-phase urban infill development project in the Germantown area of Dayton, OH. This project is focused on restoring the urban quality of the neighborhood.

The first phase includes 60 residential units geared towards families and seniors.  The unit mix consists of one, two and three bedroom units.  All of the ground floor units are visitable, and a portion of these units are accessible.  The units above grade are two-level townhomes.  The buildings line the streets to restore the urban quality of the neighborhood.  All of the units have both a street entrance and a connection to a private back patio or deck, with access to surface parking at the core of the block.  A green is located at the interior of the block with garden areas, a playground and a preserved stand of mature trees.
