CR served as Architect of Record on this design/build project. The renovation/addition helps create a new presence for the University along one of Cincinnati's prominent avenues. The sculptural qualities and relationship of the massing and materials respect the historic campus while making the transition from the traditional to the contemporary to convey the University's vision for the future. The project features galleries for display of archived exhibits, a sophisticated distance learning lecture hall with seating for 75, multi-functional seminar rooms, administrative offices, and a new main entry. The gallery spaces and lecture hall provide new education and outreach opportunities to share the documents and stories contained within the American Jewish Archive's collection.
