Rural school with a modern design

This rural school addition is designed to serve 726 students, grades K-6.  It is an addition to the existing grades 7-12 building, and is replacing the existing primary and intermediate schools.  The seamless design ties into the existing school and forms an interior courtyard that will serve as an extended outdoor learning center with tiered seating.  With two separate entrances for the middle school and elementary school, the design reduces congestion during arrival and school dismissal.  The design also incorporates a new concession area, public restrooms that can be accessed directly from the existing stadium, as well as a 7,000-sf gymnasium.  This project is partially funded by the OSFC.
