A contemporary private school with a humble design

Mars Hill Academy opened in the Fall of 2006. This contemporary private school evokes a serene presence in the neighborhood. The building's design reflects a modest and humble institution that encourages community interaction and respect for the environment.  A signature bell tower marks the institution within the community and functions as the main entry.  The classroom wings are separated from the more communal spaces with a transparent common area intended for flexible casual interaction and instruction. The facility includes 17 academic classrooms, a science lab, art and music classrooms, a library, a multi-purpose room, warming kitchen and gymnasium.
