Design/build facility to serve the armed forces

CR served as the Architect of Record on this design/build Armed Forces Reserve Center. The facility has four buildings: the training center, maintenance training bay, unheated storage building and wash rack. The one-story training building includes office areas, classrooms, an assembly hall, kitchen spaces, fitness and locker rooms, weapons simulator and storage spaces. The exterior of the training building is comprised of non-load bearing, precast concrete panels designed with brick and stone patterns in accent colors. Internally, the floor plan separates public and secure areas and supports a logical circulation pattern. The maintenance training bay and unheated storage building are single story, pre-engineered buildings.
