This facility is designed as two-story facility that houses primary care services. The building is arranged around a central spine of support spaces, such as nurse stations, pharmacy, lab, triage nurses, and check-in/check-out areas. Four primary care "pods" are organized around this central support space. These "pods" each contain a doctors office, and six exam rooms that are assigned to each doctor's office. The project provides a large multi-purpose room for training and lecture, and also has separate facilities for x-ray and outpatient procedures. The project was designed for LEED Silver certification. It incorporates such green features as a rain garden to manage storm water, and skylights and solar tubes to maximize natural illumination.
