Designed to meet federal program requirements

Completed in 2006, this station serves fire- crash for flight line and fire-rescue for the land side of the base and is configured for maximum turning radius for responding to crash vehicles. The facility accommodates three shifts of fire rescue personnel and includes 21 individual dormitories fire department administration offices, a kitchen, a dayroom, training room, emergency dispatch room, and quarter master supply. The seven bay apparatus facility is positioned on the site for maximum turning radius. The building materials and systems of the facility respond to the program requirements, design objectives and budget considerations, and were key to meeting the tight construction schedule and fast-track approach for the project.

This design-build project was completed in partnership with Messer Construction and Burgess & Niple.
