Located across the Potomac River just a half mile from the Ronald Reagan Airport, this full-service Hyatt Regency Crystal City accommodates 686 guest rooms and provides 85,800 square feet of meeting and event space. Our team was asked to provide a fresh, unique and contemporary design that was also cost effective.
Creation
The renovation work for this landmark hotel included the guestrooms, suites, corridor, ballroom and meeting space, all designed in the urban spirit of the metropolitan DC area. The hotel offers an elegantly modern experience through clean lines, a natural color palette and sophisticated finishes. Featuring the blue hues of the sky and the steel gray of aircrafts landing at the nearby Reagan National Airport, the interior design strategy draws inspiration from the frequently traveled paths of their guests. This minimalist design approach provides guests with a relaxing and convenient experience during their stay in the heart of DC.
Completed in under four months, our team worked hard to balance speed with quality, ultimately providing Hyatt with a refreshing design that accomplished their goals and remained within their budget.
